Karoline Mathilde Pedersen

Communication, marketing & guest relations

I am Karoline, based in Aarhus, Denmark. I am volunteering as the SoMe manager, helping in on communication, marketing and international guest relations. I am too contributing to business development as well as graphic design making.

Through extensive travelling and roadtripping around Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya & Tanzania, and my friendship with Johnson, I have gained some good knowledge about East Africa that I would like to share with new travellers.

Together with Johnson, I plan, organize, and coordinate small-group tours, primarily for family, friends, and acquaintances.

Alongside my volunteer role, I study global history & history of ideas at Aarhus University, and work as a Programme and Event Coordinator at Folkeuniversitetet (The People's University), where I coordinate public lectures and events that make university knowledge accessible to a wider audience.

I hope guests of Makune will feel informed, welcomed and confident throughout their journey.
